"WE DREAM OF A WORLD WHERE ORGANISATIONS LIKE OURS DON'T NEED TO EXIST"
Welcome to Rainbow Roos – where soccer is more than a sport. It’s a tool for connection, confidence, and inclusion.
We’re a not-for-profit community organisation offering fun, accessible, and adaptable soccer programs for children as young as two, through to teens and adults. Whether it’s your first time kicking a ball or you're ready to build on existing skills, there’s a place for you here. Specialising in inclusive coaching and personalised support, we proudly work with individuals of all abilities - including those with physical, developmental and sensory needs. Our goal is simple: to ensure everyone feels welcome, supported, and empowered to participate at their own pace.
Because everyone deserves the chance to play, belong, and thrive.
Ryan - Assistant Coach
We’re thrilled to welcome to the Rainbow Roos team as our newest Assistant Coach! At just 15 years old, Ryan brings experience, incredible enthusiasm and a deep love for the game that’s well beyond his years.
A proud local currently at Trinity Catholic College in Lismore, Ryan first laced up his boots at just six years old with the Kyogle Kickers. His journey since then has been nothing short of extraordinary!
Driven by a strong desire to reach the top of his game, Ryan has been:
-
A member of the Liverpool International Academy and Northern Rivers Football Academy.
-
Selected into the North Coast Football SAP Program.
-
A key player in the Northern NSW NCIS State Football team.
-
A multiple-year Australian Representative Futsal Team member, competing internationally in Spain, the Philippines, and Brazil.
-
Recognised as an ‘All Star’ at the 2024 National School Futsal Championships.
-
Regularly invited to West Ham National and International Training Camps in both Australia and the UK.
But what makes Ryan truly special is not just his skill - it’s his heart. He’s passionate about helping younger kids fall in love with football the way he did. Whether he’s guiding a dribble or cheering on a great pass, Ryan is committed to creating fun, supportive sessions where every child can shine.
With dreams of becoming a professional player and a respected coach, Ryan’s journey is just beginning - and we’re so excited to be part of it!

"Our country has been through difficult experiences in terms of unity. Sport - football in particular - has the power to help that. It is a special feeling."
— Gareth Southgate
