PARENT & CLIENT FEEDBACK
As with all businesses and organisations, we rely on feedback from parents and clients to not only improve our service but also reassure others that we are good at what we do!
Below are a selection of kind comments that we have received:
“As a preschool teacher, I love having Rainbow Roos in our incursion program. The kids are fully engaged, the coaches are enthusiastic and it’s wonderful to see every child succeed in a fun, inclusive way.”
- Pre School Teacher
“Our daughter has been attending Rainbow Roos NDIS sessions for a term now, and the difference has been amazing. The coaches are patient, supportive and really take the time to understand her individual needs. She’s gained so much confidence, both on the field and in social situations, and she genuinely looks forward to every session. It’s such a relief to find a program that is fun, inclusive, and tailored to her abilities.”
- NDIS Parent
“My daughter was so nervous about joining a group activity, but BabyRoos made it easy. She laughs, runs and plays every session. It’s like an outdoor playgroup with the bonus of learning ball skills!”
- BabyRoos Parent
The coaches are more than capable in keeping their attention and teaching them useful and fun skills to prepare them for the next stage of competitive club soccer. My son has only done one term but is always asking what day of the week it is because he wants to play soccer. He has made some good friends there already. He also says Brad is really fun and funny! Keep up the good work team. Here's hoping for an indoor place for those rainy days."
- MiniRoos Parent
“We recently had Rainbow Roos run their Slip-n-Slide at our community event and it was a massive hit! The kids were laughing and running around the entire time, and the coaches made sure every child was involved and safe. Their energy and organisation made the whole event run smoothly and we received so many compliments from parents. Rainbow Roos really knows how to bring fun and laughter to the community.”

“I’ve been supporting my client for some time, and his behaviour used to be very up and down - he could become frustrated or aggressive if things didn’t go his way. Since joining Rainbow Roos, the coaches have taken the time to understand him, set realistic expectations and work patiently with him at his pace. The change has been remarkable - he’s more confident, engaged and enjoys being part of the sessions. Rainbow Roos has genuinely made a positive difference in his life.”
- NDIS Support Worker
“I like the games where we get to run and tag people. And sometimes I get to be the goalie and that’s the best!”
- MiniRoos Participant
“As an OT, I’ve referred several clients to Rainbow Roos and the difference has been remarkable. The sessions support not only physical coordination but also social skills, confidence and emotional regulation. The coaches are thoughtful, patient and skilled at adapting activities to each child’s needs. I’ve seen children who were hesitant or anxious thrive in this inclusive environment - it’s more than just soccer, it’s a space where they can grow.”

Rainbow Roos play a vital role in promoting active and inclusive classes to children of all abilities and backgrounds, using the framework of soccer to build confidence, teamwork and collaboration in our young people, particularly those with additional needs.
Given all that our community has experienced over the last few years, the ability of this program to offer much needed physical activity, whilst promoting positive self-values, has been critical to the emotional wellbeing of our young people.

“Rainbow Roos has been a fantastic addition to our school holiday program. The kids love every minute and I love how the sessions are structured yet flexible enough to cater to different skill levels. Brad and the team are approachable, organised and full of energy, making it a really enjoyable experience for everyone. We’ve seen children who were shy or unsure thrive and gain confidence in just a few weeks.”
- Vacation Care Coordinator
“The Brickz holiday program with Ellie was incredible! It’s so much more than just building and play – the kids are learning about emotions, self-regulation, creativity and teamwork, all while having a blast. Ellie’s patience, encouragement, and enthusiasm make every session engaging and meaningful. My children came home proud of their creations and confident in themselves. This program truly combines fun with valuable life skills.”
- Brickz Lego Club Parent
“I love Rainbow Roos because I get to kick the ball and sometimes run faster than
my big brother!”
- MiniRoos Participant
“Rainbow Roos has been a highlight of our after school program. Running an hour session each week during term time, the coaches keep the kids engaged, active, and smiling from start to finish. Parents love that their children get to burn energy and learn new skills while having fun, giving them peace of mind to finish their workday. The mix of structure, games, and encouragement is perfect for all abilities.”

I hired Brad as a personal soccer coach for the second half of the 2025 season to improve my shooting and kicking technique for my Women’s 4th Division games. The impact was immediate - my teammates quickly noticed how much sharper my play became. Although I was tempted to keep Brad as my secret weapon, I ended up introducing him to my team, and now we all work with him whenever we get the chance.
Brad really takes the time to listen. He assessed my skills, discussed my goals, and built a tailored program that fit exactly where I was and where I wanted to go. He’s proactive about identifying areas for improvement, helping me refine everything from technical mechanics in passing and shooting to overall game strategy. Brad arrives early to our sessions, setting up drills and exercises, making everything efficient and fun.
He’s a highly skilled, dedicated, fun and encouraging coach who produces immediate results if you’re willing to work hard alongside him.

“As a BigRoos parent, I can’t recommend Rainbow Roos enough. My daughter already plays in a local soccer team, but these sessions have helped her fine-tune her skills and understand teamwork in a completely different, fun environment. What I love most is how the coaches balance skill-building with inclusivity and encouragement, making every child feel valued and supported.”
- BigRoos Parent
“We booked Rainbow Roos for our son’s birthday party, and it was fantastic! The kids were engaged, active, and having a blast the entire time. The coaches were professional, friendly, and made sure every child felt included, no matter their skill level. The party was stress-free for us as parents, and our son and his friends haven’t stopped talking about it since. Truly a memorable experience!”

“Rainbow Roos has been amazing for my child who receives NDIS support. The coaches are patient, encouraging and always adapt activities so every child can join in. It’s boosted his confidence both on and off the field.”
- NDIS Parent
“I brought my little one along to BabyRoos not knowing what to expect, and we’ve both been blown away. The sessions are structured, fun, and engaging, and my child is learning basic coordination and ball skills without even realising it. As a parent, I also appreciate having a chance to meet other families in a relaxed, friendly environment – it’s like a playgroup with a purpose!”
- BabyRoos Parent
Rainbow Roos has been a fantastic addition to our curriculum! The sessions are professionally run, well-resourced, and mega fun for the students. Brad is wonderful—always professional, helpful and responsive. We love how inclusive the program is, with sessions perfectly adapted to suit diverse needs. A brilliant experience for primary-aged children!

We've been so lucky to have Rainbow Roos as part of our Vacation Care program in the holidays. Brad's holistic and adaptable approach to coaching, ensures all capabilities and needs are supported and celebrated. No child is left behind.
- Vacation Care Manager
He is super organised and runs his sessions with an impressive sense of professionalism, while always keeping it fun, the energy high and a big smile on his face. We recommend Rainbow Roos to any family with children who love to move, learn new skills, make great friends and as a bonus you will find yourself part of an awesome inclusive community. The kids can't get enough, Thanks Brad!

"The structure, organisation and presentation of the sessions is amazing. Both the BabyRoos and MiniRoos sessions include age appropriate activities to have fun and build skill. Both my kids leave with a feeling of fulfilment and pride in their abilities and I truly think that is due to the skills Brad has with managing multiple kids with different skill level and understanding of soccer, whilst making sure everyone feels included and capable. Brads experience and knowledge is obvious from the moment he steps on to the pitch."
- BabyRoos & MiniRoos Parent
"After just one session my son begged me to book him in for the whole term. He is an anxious child that often struggles with new experiences but this was not the case with Rainbow Roos - Brad creates such a safe, welcoming and fun environment that my son was keen to participate. Brad is also very in tune with the kids. My sons anxiety often comes across as silliness and being overly distracted, but Brad gets down on his level and quietly redirects him in a gentle and subtle way that works so well.
- MiniRoos Parent
His skills both socially and physically are already improving and he is gaining more confidence when on the field at with his other soccer team.
Rainbow Roos offers so much more than your traditional soccer club, he is qualified and compassionate and enthusiastic when it comes to soccer, while we love our other soccer team it can not offer the same level of skills that Roos can as it is parent volunteer and we are often learning as we go.
- MiniRoos Parent
Rainbow Roos is such an asset to our community and our youth, giving them a safe, inclusive space that allows all children to pursue their interest in soccer."

"My family has been so delighted to have Brad at MiniRoos be my children’s soccer coach! He is a fountain of enthusiasm and his exuberance and talent for teaching has so benefited my 7 and 6 year old. They were both very apprehensive to join a soccer class but Brad’s care and skill has meant smiles from day one and a growing confidence which is so heart warming to see.
- MiniRoos Parent
Thank you Brad for you dedication and for sharing your coaching skills with our community and our children. We so appreciate it!"
- BabyRoos Parent
"My daughter absolutely loves her weekly sessions! The coaches have a natural rapport with children of all ages and have created an environment for the kids that is positive, fun and structured. They make a 45 minute session managing 15 kids look easy yet this achievement is clearly due to the experience and love for what they do. Very grateful for Rainbow Roos!"
- MiniRoos Parent
"Rainbow Roos has been the perfect introduction to a group sports activity for our 6 year old. If it wasn’t for Brad’s fun, encouraging and inclusive approach, there is no way that our son would have participated. In a relatively short space of time, our son has grown tremendously from this experience, physically, emotionally and socially, and is super pumped for each session. Thanks Rainbow Roos, here’s to more aspiring MiniRoos!"
- MiniRoos Parent
"Rainbow Roos has hit a hole in the market in this area of the Northern Rivers NSW. My 5yr old son is not ready emotionally for real competition or serious soccer yet. They have come along with a group for 5-9yr olds which is light and fun, keeping the kids happy and entertained.
- MiniRoos Parent
My son has had a really good time at Rainbow Roos. Being only young, his attention span doesn’t quite last the whole class and Brad is excellent with still keeping him involved while also being flexible in allowing my son to kick his own ball and do his own stuff while also continuing to run the rest of the class.
- BabyRoos Parent
My son felt instantly at ease in class and this doesn’t happen in many situations at all. Thanks for providing a fun, play based, affordable after school sport for the kids to enjoy!
-MiniRoos Parent
Brad is great with the kids. My son thought he was funny, kind, a great coach and his teaching style was engaging. The session was well organised and easy to book. The price was so affordable and we have booked in for next terms weekly coaching. This is such a great opportunity as we have nothing like it in our region. Email communication was fast and Brad was well organised and helpful.
- MiniRoos Parent
Brad was inviting and cheerful. He made the session fun and playful for the kids and adapted the games to their ages appropriately. The session we attended my girl had so much fun and woke up the next day asking if we were going to soccer again.
