"WE DREAM OF A WORLD WHERE ORGANISATIONS LIKE OURS DON'T NEED TO EXIST"
Welcome to Rainbow Roos – where soccer is more than a sport. It’s a tool for connection, confidence, and inclusion.
We’re a not-for-profit community organisation offering fun, accessible, and adaptable soccer programs for children as young as two, through to teens and adults. Whether it’s your first time kicking a ball or you're ready to build on existing skills, there’s a place for you here. Specialising in inclusive coaching and personalised support, we proudly work with individuals of all abilities - including those with physical, developmental and sensory needs. Our goal is simple: to ensure everyone feels welcome, supported, and empowered to participate at their own pace.
Because everyone deserves the chance to play, belong, and thrive.
Mission Statement
"Empowering families, celebrating abilities and
creating a community that values diversity and inclusion"
Charitable Purpose
We are currently in the process of working alongside the ACNC to get formal charity status. This is a thorough process and we will keep you informed along the way. Our Charitable Purpose below form the backbone of this application and what we always strive to achieve.
Rainbow Roos AU Inc. is established to be a charity whose purpose is to advance social or public welfare by:
-
providing inclusive and non-competitive sport-based programs to support the social, emotional, and physical development of children, including those with disability, developmental delays, or experiencing social disadvantage;
-
delivering tailored activities to improve confidence, coordination, and social participation for children with additional needs;
-
offering subsidised or no-cost participation to families experiencing financial hardship, ensuring equitable access to programs that support wellbeing and community connection; and
-
hosting community-based events that promote inclusion, build resilience, and support the recovery and cohesion of communities affected by natural disasters, social isolation, or disadvantage.
“How wonderful it is that nobody needs to wait a single day before starting to improve the world.”
