"WE DREAM OF A WORLD WHERE ORGANISATIONS LIKE OURS DON'T NEED TO EXIST"
Welcome to Rainbow Roos – where soccer is more than a sport. It’s a tool for connection, confidence, and inclusion.
We’re a not-for-profit community organisation offering fun, accessible, and adaptable soccer programs for children as young as two, through to teens and adults. Whether it’s your first time kicking a ball or you're ready to build on existing skills, there’s a place for you here. Specialising in inclusive coaching and personalised support, we proudly work with individuals of all abilities - including those with physical, developmental and sensory needs. Our goal is simple: to ensure everyone feels welcome, supported, and empowered to participate at their own pace.
Because everyone deserves the chance to play, belong, and thrive.
Hayley - Lead Coach
Originally from the Gold Coast, Hayley made the move to the Northern Rivers in 2022 in search of a stronger sense of community and connection - and she’s found just that through her work and lifestyle. After several years in retail, Hayley felt a growing desire to pursue something more meaningful. That desire led her to the disability support sector, where she discovered a genuine passion for helping others thrive.

Hayley brings warmth, empathy, and enthusiasm to her role, finding deep fulfilment in creating spaces where individuals feel safe to express themselves without fear of judgement. Her approach is grounded in the belief that inclusivity isn’t just a value - it’s a necessity. She’s a fierce advocate for ensuring every person feels heard, respected, and celebrated for who they are.

A lover of the outdoors and an active lifestyle, Hayley has always had a close connection to sport. She understands first-hand the positive impact sport can have on building confidence, resilience, and teamwork - qualities she’s eager to pass on through her work with Rainbow Roos.

Joining the Rainbow Roos team feels like a natural fit for Hayley, combining her commitment to inclusion with her passion for movement and community. She’s excited to play a role in making sport accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of ability or background.

"Our country has been through difficult experiences in terms of unity. Sport - football in particular - has the power to help that. It is a special feeling."
— Gareth Southgate
