"WE DREAM OF A WORLD WHERE ORGANISATIONS LIKE OURS DON'T NEED TO EXIST"
Welcome to Rainbow Roos – where soccer is more than a sport. It’s a tool for connection, confidence, and inclusion.
We’re a not-for-profit community organisation offering fun, accessible, and adaptable soccer programs for children as young as two, through to teens and adults. Whether it’s your first time kicking a ball or you're ready to build on existing skills, there’s a place for you here. Specialising in inclusive coaching and personalised support, we proudly work with individuals of all abilities - including those with physical, developmental and sensory needs. Our goal is simple: to ensure everyone feels welcome, supported, and empowered to participate at their own pace.
Because everyone deserves the chance to play, belong, and thrive.
Brad Ambridge - HEAD COACH
Brad Ambridge is the founder and head coach of Rainbow Roos, bringing a wealth of coaching experience and a deep passion for creating inclusive, community-driven programs for children of all abilities.

Originally from the UK, Brad relocated to Australia in search of a better life and more supportive environment for his family. His personal journey through the challenges of parenting, isolation, personal struggles and navigating the NDIS inspired him to build something meaningful for the local community. Rainbow Roos was born out of a desire to provide a safe, fun, and inclusive space where children can grow in confidence, develop soccer skills, and most importantly enjoy being active.

Brad has a strong coaching background from the UK and is currently completing his Australian coaching certifications to ensure Rainbow Roos remains at the forefront of child-centred sports development. He leads by example, personally designing and delivering sessions across all age groups – from BabyRoos and MiniRoos to inclusive NDIS sessions, community events and birthday parties.

His approach is built on patience, creativity, and a genuine commitment to seeing every child succeed in their own time. Brad also actively works on expanding Rainbow Roos’ community outreach, building partnerships with schools, healthcare providers, and disability support organisations, while also pursuing a long-term vision of an inclusive community hub.

With a reputation for warmth, professionalism and tireless dedication, Brad continues to make a positive impact on families across the Northern Rivers and beyond.
