"WE DREAM OF A WORLD WHERE ORGANISATIONS LIKE OURS DON'T NEED TO EXIST"
Welcome to Rainbow Roos – where soccer is more than a sport. It’s a tool for connection, confidence, and inclusion.
We’re a not-for-profit community organisation offering fun, accessible, and adaptable soccer programs for children as young as two, through to teens and adults. Whether it’s your first time kicking a ball or you're ready to build on existing skills, there’s a place for you here. Specialising in inclusive coaching and personalised support, we proudly work with individuals of all abilities - including those with physical, developmental and sensory needs. Our goal is simple: to ensure everyone feels welcome, supported, and empowered to participate at their own pace.
Because everyone deserves the chance to play, belong, and thrive.

Big energy, even bigger imaginations—and a love for running in every direction! Welcome to the world of 5–10 year olds. At MiniRoos, we take that boundless enthusiasm and channel it into inclusive, fun-filled soccer sessions that teach so much more than just how to kick a ball.
At this age, children are developing not only their physical skills, but also emotional awareness, social confidence, and a sense of belonging.
That’s why our sessions are thoughtfully designed to:
⚽ Build Soccer Skills – Dribbling, passing, shooting, and ball control in a supportive, pressure-free setting
🎯 Explore Teamwork & Tactics – Learning how to move into space, collaborate, and think ahead
🤝 Grow Social & Life Skills – Practising empathy, resilience, respect, and communication
🌍 Celebrate Inclusion & Diversity – Playing together, learning from each other, and making friends of all backgrounds and abilities
MiniRoos is not about being the best—it’s about every child being their best.
We create a safe and uplifting space where kids feel seen, supported, and free to make mistakes. Many of our participants also access sessions through the NDIS, and we proudly welcome children of all abilities with open arms and tailored support.
Whether they’re weaving through cones, cheering for a teammate, or learning how to handle a tough moment, they’re developing confidence, character, and community.
With game-based learning, imaginative challenges, and loads of encouragement, MiniRoos helps children build strong foundations in sport, wellbeing, and connection—while having an absolute blast.
💰 We accept NSW Active Kids vouchers and NDIS funding—because every child deserves the chance to play!
We currently run four weekly sessions in the region:
MONDAY 3:45-4:30pm
Hepburn Park, Goonellabah
TUESDAY 3:45-4:30pm

WEDNESDAY 3:30-4:15pm

FRIDAY 4:30-5:15pm

All age groups can be relatively flexible. If you feel your child would be better suited in an older/younger group, please get in touch and we can discuss.
Please note, all sessions must be booked and paid for in advance. Not only does it allow us to better plan sessions by knowing numbers, but we are also not insured to take cash on the day.
