"WE DREAM OF A WORLD WHERE ORGANISATIONS LIKE OURS DON'T NEED TO EXIST"
Welcome to Rainbow Roos – where soccer is more than a sport. It’s a tool for connection, confidence, and inclusion.
We’re a registered charity offering fun, accessible and adaptable soccer and Lego programs for children as young as two, through to teens and adults. Whether it’s your first time or you're ready to build on existing skills, there’s a place for you here. Specialising in inclusive coaching and personalised support, we proudly work with individuals of all abilities - including those with physical, developmental and sensory needs. Our goal is simple: to ensure everyone feels welcome, supported, and empowered to participate at their own pace.
Because everyone deserves the chance to play, belong, and thrive.

BigRoos Sessions
BigRoos: Where Potential Becomes Performance.
The game changes at this age.

For 11–16 year olds, football is no longer just about energy and enthusiasm. It becomes about awareness. Decision-making. Responsibility. Confidence under pressure.

BigRoos exists for young people who want to grow.

Whether they are already playing club football or simply love the game and want to improve, these sessions are designed to stretch them technically, challenge them mentally and strengthen them emotionally.

We refine first touch so it creates time and control. We develop sharper passing and intelligent movement so players influence the game rather than chase it. We build tactical awareness so they begin to read patterns, anticipate space and make smarter decisions. We create realistic match scenarios that demand composure, communication and courage.

Every activity has intention. Every session builds progression.

Players are encouraged to take ownership of their development. To try the difficult pass. To analyse their choices. To respond positively when something does not come off. Because at this stage, growth is just as much about mindset as it is about skill.
BigRoos complements club football by offering additional ball time, fresh coaching perspective and an inclusive environment where improvement matters more than comparison. There is challenge, but not judgement. Standards, but not pressure.
Many participants attend through NDIS plans and sessions are thoughtfully adapted to suit a wide range of learning styles, goals and support needs. Inclusion is not an add-on. It is embedded in how we coach and how we build the group.
You will see players thinking quicker. Communicating louder. Recovering stronger after mistakes. Demanding more of themselves. That is maturity. That is resilience. That is confidence taking shape.

Cost
Thanks to the incredible generosity and support of the Mercy Foundation, all ten-week block bookings have been subsidised to just $95. Individual sessions are $16.
We also accept NSW Active Kids vouchers and NDIS funding to ensure access remains available to all families.

Session Details
Monday
4:45–5:45pm
Astro-Turf on Crawford Road, Lismore. We will be moving back to Hepburn Park after Easter.

Age groups are a guide rather than a rigid rule. Every young person develops differently, and we are always happy to discuss what environment will challenge and support your child most effectively. If you feel they may benefit from training in a slightly older or younger group, please reach out and we can explore the best fit together.

All sessions must be booked and paid for in advance. This allows us to structure sessions properly, plan safely and meet our insurance requirements. For this reason, we are unable to accept walk-ins or cash payments on the day.

If they are ready to take responsibility for their growth and push their game forward, BigRoos is ready for them.
